Kyrghyz manty
- 500 grams flour
- 1 water
- 1 kg sheep meat
- 500 grams sheep fat (any kind of fat is good too)
- 5 green onions
- 1 salt (if needed)
- 1 black pepper
- 1 cayenne pepper (optional )
- 1 eggs
- Mix the flour with the egg and a little bit of water.
- Add water until it takes the consistency of a dough.
- Take the dough and create as many "squares" as you can.
- On an other side, cut the meat and the fat in little pieces.
- Now you can add some pepper, cayenne pepper (if you like spicy dishes ^^)and salt in the meat.
- Mix all the ingredients, you can use your hands ;)
- Add the onions slighty cut in your preparation.
- Now, take your squares of dough and put some meat in the middle of the square.
- Fold the corner to the center.
- And pinch two corners together.
- It may look like a manty (look at the photo behind)
- When all the mantys are ready, cook them usimg a steamer.
- At least 30min, check them frequently.
- You can serve them with a tomato sauce (spicy or not ^^)
