Swiss Steak with Vegetables
- 1 1/2 pound beef steak, round
- 1/4 cup flour, all-purpose
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 each carrots cut into 2 inch pieces
- 4 each potatoes quartered
- 1 each onions sliced
- 1 can soup, french onion condensed
- 1/2 cup water
- Season the steak with salt, pepper and dust with flour.
- In a skillet, brown the meat in oil until browned on both sides.
- Place the vegetables in the bottom of the crockpot and cover with the meat.
- Mix the soup and water and pour over the meat.
- Cover and cook on Low 6 to 8 hours.
- Great served over rice or noodles.
