Herb Pot Roast Recipe
- 2-4 pound bottom round roast
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- 1/2 c. red wine
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. minced onion
- 2 stalks celery (minced)
- 1/2 clove garlic (chopped)
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon oregano
- 3/4 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tbsp. butter
- Brown roast in 2 tbsp.
- butter.
- Place in crock pot with other ingredients and cook on high 5-7 hrs.
