Best Nut Rolls Recipe

  1. Dissolve 2 small cakes of fresh yeast in 1 c. hot lowfat milk.
  2. Add in sugar, butter, salt, vanilla, and beaten Large eggs.
  3. Then add in 4 1/2 c. of sifted flour.
  4. Mix into a dough; round into a buttered bowl and butter the top.
  5. Cover with a tea towel and let rise for 1 hour.
  6. Divide dough into 3 pcs.
  7. Makes 3 rolls.
  8. Fill as for cinnamon roll.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
  10. Brush with egg yolk mixed with 1 Tbsp.
  11. water.
