Zesty Juicy Gorzonzola Turkey Burger
- 20 ounces ground turkey
- 12 onion
- 1 12 tablespoons diced raw fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 green chili pepper, minced
- 12 cup crumbled gorgonzola
- 12 tablespoon diced raw turmeric (optional)
- 14 cup minced fresh cilantro (optional)
- olive oil
- 2 tablespoons cumin
- mince the vegetables.
- and mix into ground turkey.
- recommended you marinade overnight.
- roll the mixture into 4-5 inch diameter balls (makes 4-6 burgers).
- in a sauce pan, heat oil and throw in cumin.
- when you smell cumin, place the balls onto pan and flatten until thickness of burger is about 3/4" thick.
- drizzle oil on burger.
- flip over after a minute.
- cover with lid.
- leave for 3 minutes.
- and flip over.
- cover with lid.
- leave until there is no pink inside (poke to check).
- you can grill this too.
