Western Light Broil with Vegetables

  1. Combine soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, onions and garlic powder.
  2. Pour marinade over steak, turning to coat.
  3. Marinate in refrigerator, 6 to 8 hours, turning occasionally.
  4. Pour off marinade;discard.
  5. Place steak on rack in broiler pan so surface of meat is 3 to 4 inches from heat.
  6. Broil 16 to 20 minutes to medium-rare, turning once.
  7. Keep steak warm.
  8. Meanwhile, arrange an equal amount of each vegetable, in spoke fashion, on four dinner plates.
  9. Carve steak into 1/4 inch thick slices.
  10. Arrange 4 slices of beef over vegetables.
  11. Top with a tomato rose, if desired.
