Apple Port Glazed Chicken Livers Recipe

  1. Prepare sauce by combining apple juice concentrate, port, and 1 tbsp butter in a small saucepan.
  2. Boil sauce till reduced to 1/2 c.. Set aside.
  3. Remove any bits of fat or possibly grislte from liver and cut each in half.
  4. Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a plastic bag.
  5. Drop liver pcs in a few at a time and toss to coat.
  6. Heat 2 tbsp butter over medium heat and brown liver pcs, turning once.
  7. Cook till no pink shows when liver is cut, but don't overcook.
  8. Place livers in a serving dish and pour sauce overtop.
  9. Makes 4servings.
