Celebration Chocolate Pecan Pie
- 1 (9 inch) pie crusts
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 14 cup cornstarch
- 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
- 1 cup chocolate chips (mini works best)
- Line pie plate with crust; set aside.
- Beat eggs slightly in a small mixer bowl.
- Gradually add sugar.
- Add melted butter/margarine and vanilla; mix well.
- Blend in cornstarch.
- Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.
- Pour into unbaked pie crust.
- Bake at 350F for 45-50 minutes.
- Cool 1 hour.
