Chinese Pepper Steak Recipe

  1. Cut steak into small strips and brown.
  2. Just a little in the oil.
  3. Then combine wine, soy sauce, sugar and salt and pour over steak.
  4. Cover with water using a skillet with cover.
  5. Simmer slowly till soft.
  6. Should you lose some of the liquid during cooking add in a little more wine and water.
  7. When soft add in green peppers and cook 3 min.
  8. Add in your tomatoes and cook 2 min.
  9. Lastly thicken with cornstarch.
  10. You may not need 1 tbsp.
  11. It all depends on how much liquid you have left.
  12. Serve with or possibly without rice.
  13. Serves 4 to 5 people.
