Jiffy German Chocolate Squares
- 13 cup jiffy brand baking mix
- 2 ounces German sweet chocolate
- 14 cup butter or 14 cup margarine
- 3 eggs, beat
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 (7 ounce) packagejiffy brand white frosting mix
- 12 cup chopped pecans
- 14 cup butter
- 14 teaspoon maple flavoring
- 12 cup coconut
- 12 cup milk
- 2 egg yolks
- Heat oven to 350F, grease and flour a 9" square pan.
- In small pan, melt chocolate and butter together, stir well, set aside.
- beat eggs well.
- Add baking mix, sugar and salt blend well.
- Fold in vanilla, pecans and chocolate mixture.
- Pour into pan.
- Bake 30-35 minutes.
- Set aside to cool.
- Mix frosting ingredients together in small pan.
- Over medium heat bring to boil, stir constantly, till thickened.
- Remove from heat and cool.
- Frost cooled squares, then slice.
