Brisket Of Beef With Sauerkraut And Dumplings Recipe

  1. Heat the shortening in a large pan and brown the onion.
  2. Then add in the meat that has been well-seasoned with the salt & pepper.
  3. Add in the sauerkraut and cover with boiling water.
  4. Cook slowly for 2 hrs or possibly till meat is tender.
  5. Make recipe of Dumplings #1.
  6. Cut the dough in squares and place on top of meat and sauerkraut.
  7. Cover the pan tightly and cook for 25 min.
