Caramelized Onion and Garlic Pasta
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 large sweet onion thinly sliced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- tsp 1/8, salt
- 8 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cup grape tomato, halved
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar (I used a touch less)
- 1 olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 packages angel hair pasta
- 1 packages bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 parmesan cheese, to top
- In LG skillet, melt butter over med-high heat.
- Add onion, salt and pepper flakes.
- Salute until onions are tender.
- Stir in garlic, reduce heat to low stirring occasionally until onions are golden brown.
- While doing that, cook pasta and set aside.
- Also cook the bacon, crumble and set aside.
- Add tomatoes and vinegar to skillet.
- Once mixture is warm, add to drained pasta.
- Toss all together and top with bacon and cheese!
