Dandy Cookies
- 12 cup shortening
- 14 cup white sugar, plus
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 14 cup brown sugar, plus
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 14 cup dandelion flowers
- 1 12 cups all-purpose flour
- Mix together the sugars + shortening until creamy.
- Add vanilla and egg and beat well.
- Mix all dry ingredients including petals.
- Drop by spoonfuls or roll into balls about 1/2 inch diameter on ungreased cookie sheet.
- 375* for about 7 minutes or til golden brown.
