Ribbon Sandwiches

  1. Use 1 white and 2 brown slices per stack.
  2. Use 2 different fillings for each stack.
  3. Place brown slices on the bottom and top.
  4. Butter and spread fillings between each slice.
  5. Cut crusts from all sides.
  6. Wrap and chill.
  7. To serve, slice in 1/2 inch slices.
  8. Then cut each slice into 3 or 4 strips.
  9. Repeat with other slices.
  10. Makes about 3 1/2 to 5 dozen.
  11. FOR THE HAM FILLING: Combine ham, relish, onion and salad dressing.
  12. If too dry, add a bit more salad dressing.
  13. Mash with potato masher until smooth.
  14. FOR THE EGG FILLING: Mix all together.
  15. If too dry, add a bit more salad dressing.
  16. Makes about 1 3/4 cups.
