Abondigas Venezolanas (Venezuela) Recipe

  1. Mix beef, onions, crumbs, mint, salt and pepper; add in water, small amount at a time, just till mix holds together.
  2. Form into bite-sized balls; arrange balls in single layer in shallow oven dish.
  3. Pour tomatoes over meatballs; sprinkle with cinnamon.
  4. Dot with butter.
  5. Bake in 400-degree oven for 1 hour.
  6. Serve with toothpicks.
  7. Yield: 50 meatballs.
