Grits bacon and cheese
- 1/2 cup crisp bacon crumbs
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cup colby jack cheese shredded
- 3 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup grits dried
- 1 stick margarine
- Put water in pot bring to boil 1 stick margarine
- Fry the bacon
- Add grits to boiling water add salt
- When bacon is crisp chop it up
- Keep stirring constantly on rhose grits don't let them get lumpy its nasty to bite into a clump of raw grits
- Add bacon and cheese stir in well cover let sit for 10 minutes
