Beer Braised Chicken Recipe
- 4 x chicken breast halves
- 1 can beer - (12 ounce)
- 1/2 bot chili sauce
- 4 x potatoes peeled, and cut into 2" pcs
- 2 x celery stalks sliced
- 4 x carrots peeled, sliced
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1/4 c. flour mixed with a little cool water to make a smooth paste Fresh parsley sprigs for garnish (optional)
- Combine all ingredients except flour mix in crock pot.
- Cover and cook for 7 to 9 hrs on LOW.
- Add in flour and water paste to the sauce during the last 30 to 45 min.
- Continue cooking, covered till thickened.
- Arrange vegetables and meat on large platter.
- Serve sauce separately.
- Garnish with parsley.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
