Peppermint Holiday Mold Recipe

  1. Place candies and 2 c. of water in saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer gently, stirring occasionally till candy has melted.
  3. Completely dissolve gelatin in warm peppermint water in a bowl.
  4. Add in cool water and refrigeratetill slightly thickened.
  5. Spoon 2 1/2 c. of the thickened gelatin into the mold.
  6. Blend whipped topping into remaining gelatin.
  7. Spoon over clear layer in mold.
  8. Refrigerateat least 4 hrs.
  9. Unmold.
  10. Garnish with additional whipped topping and peppermint candies.
  11. Makes 5 c. or possibly 10 servings.
