Midwest Bean Bake Recipe
- 1 (1 pound 15 ounce.) can pork & beans
- 1 (15 ounce.) can butter beans (dry limas)
- 1 (15 ounce.) can kidney beans
- 2 (16 ounce.) cans barbecued beans
- 1/2 pound bacon, cut in short pcs
- 1/2 pound cubed ham or possibly turkey ham
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. cider vinegar
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- Combine all the ingredients (don't drain the canned beans) in large baking dish.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hrs.
- Yield 20 servings.
