Chocolate Dipped Candy Recipe
- 2 lbs. powdered sugar
- 2 c. minced nuts
- 4 c. flaked coconut
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 18 ounce. of chocolate chips
- 1/4 lbs. butter
- 1 can sweetened condensed lowfat milk
- A little salt
- 1/4 pound of wax
- Heat butter till soft, add in vanilla.
- Mix the sugar, nuts and coconut well before adding the butter, lowfat milk and vanilla.
- The mix will be stiff.
- Chill for a few min.
- Roll by hand into small balls and place on wax paper.
- The next day heat 18 ounces of lowfat milk chocolate chips and 1/4 lb.
- of paraffin wax in a double boiler.
- Pierce the candy balls on a toothpick and dip in the warm chocolate mix.
- Place on wax paper.
- When done, go back and fill each toothpick hole with a swirl of chocolate.
- Store where cold.
- Makes about 80 pcs.
