Indian Bhel Puri
- 2 cups Puffed Rice
- 1 Tablespoon Mint Chutney
- 2 Tablespoons Red Chutney
- 1 Tablespoon Tamarind Sauce
- 1 whole Small Russet Potato, Peeled, Cubed And Boiled Until Tender, Cooled
- 1 whole Tomato, Pulp Removed And Discarded, Diced
- 1/2 cups Red Onion, Diced
- 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1/2 teaspoons Cumin Powder
- 1/2 cups Indian Sev
- 1/4 cups Roasted Peanuts
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 4 whole Papdis (Indian Crackers), Broken
- 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- You can find all of these ingredients at your local Indian store, and the chutneys can be made at home.
- Start by heating a skillet on medium-low heat.
- Add puffed rice and gently toast for a few minutes, shaking the pan as it toasts.
- To a mixing bowl, add everything but the lemon juice.
- Gently stir and mix, ensuring that the chutneys are mixed in well.
- Sprinkle on the lemon juice.
- Now you are ready to serve.
