Peanut Rice
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 14 cups water
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 12 cup frozen baby peas, thawed
- 12 cup dry roasted peanuts, chopped
- 14 cup green onion, sliced (green and white parts)
- Mix the rice, water, salt, and turmeric in a pot, and bring to a boil.
- Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer 20 minutes.
- Stir the onions, peas and peanuts into the cooked rice, and serve.
