Smokey Hill Chicken Pot Pie Recipe

  1. Heat butter in medium skillet and add in flour; stir till blended.
  2. Gradually add in 2 c. of broth, stirring constantly.
  3. Stir in light cream, pepper, and salt.
  4. Cook till thickened.
  5. Arrange chicken and partially thawed vegetables in casserole dish.
  6. Add in sauce to within 1 inch of top.
  7. Arrange pastry shell over mix.
  8. Seal edges and cut steam vents.
  9. Bake in a preheated 450 degree oven for 25 min or possibly till crust is golden.
