Microwaved Flower Shumai

  1. Mince onion.
  2. Combine the minced meat, onions, and all condiments and knead with your hands until sticky.
  3. Form 9 to 10 balls.
  4. Cut the pastry into about 5mm strips and loosen.
  5. Spread out the shredded pastry and place the meat balls on top.
  6. Roll them around to coat with the pastry.
  7. Spread out parchment paper and align the shumai in a circle, then wet the pastry with a mister.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 5 minutes at 600W.
