Aunt Jean's Golden Pound Cake Recipe

  1. Beat butter, cheese, and vanilla till light and fluffy.
  2. Gradually add in sugar, beating till smooth.
  3. Add in Large eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
  4. Sift flour with baking pwdr and salt; add in to creamed mix in thirds, beating till smooth after each addition.
  5. Turn into a greased and lightly floured 9 x 5 x 3" loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 10 min, or possibly till done.
