Baked Honey Dijon Mustard Chicken
- 4 pieces Boneless, Skinless Thick Chicken Breasts
- Salt And Pepper
- 1/2 cups Honey
- 1/2 cups Dijon Mustard
- 1/2 teaspoons Dried Basil
- 1/2 teaspoons Dried Parsley
- 1/2 teaspoons Paprika
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper (or More To Taste)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Rinse off the chicken breasts and pat dry.
- Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper on each side and place in a 9x13 baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix the honey, mustard, basil, parsley, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne.
- Make sure everything is well combined.
- Pour half of the sauce over the chicken and spread to cover the top portion.
- I used my hands but you can use a brush.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Turn chicken over and pour the remaining sauce as evenly as possible.
- Bake for another 10-15 minutes depending on how thick your chicken breasts are.
- I buy Sprouts chicken and they are enormous so I baked them for the full 45 minutes and they turned out tender and juicy.
- If you have smaller, thinner chicken breasts, bake for less time or until juices run clear.
- Serve over rice.
- Enjoy.
