Teriyaki Braised Beef Bourguignonne
- stewing beef, cut into 2 inch cubes Safeway 1 lb For $5.99 thru 02/09
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/4 cups olive oil
- 9 cups red onion, chopped
- 12 cups celery, sliced
- 12 cups mushroom, sliced
- 6 cups Bull's-Eye Trailblazin' Teriyaki BBQ Sauce
- 6 cups beef broth
- 6 cups red wine
- 36 cups rice
- Toss beef with flour and saute in a rondeau or large saucepan in oil over high heat until well browned.
- Remove beef, lower heat to medium-high and saute vegetables until beginning to soften, around 6-8 minutes.
- Return beef to pot; add barbecue sauce, broth and wine.
- Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 - 2 hours, or until vegetables and beef are tender.
- Serve over cooked rice.
