Pasta Carbonara

  1. Follow package instructions to prepare spaghetti, adding salt to the water.
  2. before draining, scoop out 1 cup of pasta water & set aside.
  3. drain the pasta.
  4. cook bacon in saute pan until crispy.
  5. chop bacon into pieces.
  6. add garlic & black pepper.
  7. add the bacon & garlic to the spaghetti.
  8. coat the spaghetti.
  9. remove pan from the heat & add parmesan cheese, egg beaters & pasta water.
  10. quickly toss to coat.
  11. sprinkle chopped parsley over the pasta, toss & serve.
