Steamy Sesame & Miso Shabu Shabu Hot Pot
- 400 grams Very thinly sliced pork (for shabu-shabu)
- 3 bags Bean sprouts
- 1 block Grilled tofu
- 1/2 Napa cabbage
- 1 Japanese leek
- 4 Shiitake mushrooms
- 4 pieces Grated garlic
- 1 Shichimi spice
- 1000 ml Dashi stock
- 60 grams Roasted grated white sesame seeds
- 4 tbsp Miso
- 2 tbsp White miso
- 1 tsp Doubanjiang
- 1/2 tbsp Vinegar
- Cut the meat and veggies into your preferred sizes.
- Put the dashi soup ingredients into an earthenware pot and bring to a boil.
- Add the meat.
- When the soup begins to boil again, remove the scum from the top and add the vegetables.
- When it begins to simmer slightly, season with shichimi spice and enjoy.
