Shredded Stout BBQ Chicken

  1. Preheat oven to 325AF.
  2. In a dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic.
  4. Cook until onions begin to brown.
  5. About 5 minutes.
  6. Add remaining ingredients except chicken and stir until combined.
  7. Remove from stove and add chicken.
  8. Make sure chicken is completely covered by the sauce.
  9. Cover with lid.
  10. Bake in the oven for 90 minutes or until chicken is extremely tender.
  11. Remove dish from the oven.
  12. Use a slotted spoon to remove the chicken from the dish.
  13. Put the dutch oven on the stove uncovered over high heat and bring to a boil.
  14. Reduce the liquid until desired thickness, around 10-15 minutes.
  15. In the meantime, shredded the chicken using forks.
  16. Return chicken to sauce and toss to coat.
  17. Serve on buns.
