Fruit Trifle

  1. Bake & cool cake according to package directions.
  2. Cut cake vertically into halves.
  3. Freeze one half for future use.
  4. Tear other half into small pieces.
  5. Mix pineapple & oranges in small bowl.
  6. Prepare pudding according to package directions.
  7. Layer half of each of cake, fruit mixture, & pudding in 2 qt serving bowl; repeat.
  8. Spread cool whip over pudding.
  9. Garnish with cherries.
  10. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
