Suzanne's Apple Crumb Pie
- 4 large tart apples
- 12 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 12 cup sugar
- 34 cup flour
- 13 cup butter
- 1 9-inch deep dish pie crust (homemade or frozen)
- Pare apples; cut in eighths and arrange in 9" pastry-lined pan.
- Sprinkle with 1/2 c.
- sugar mixed with cinnamon.
- Sift remaining 1/2 c.
- sugar with flour; cut in butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle over apples.
- Bake at 450, 10 min.
- ,then at 350 about 40 min.
- ;or until apples are tender.
