Smoky Scalloped Potatoes
- 2 cups shredded smoked gouda cheese (8 oz.) or 2 cups American cheese (8 oz.)
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
- 1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream
- 12 . chicken broth
- 1 12 lbs yukon gold potatoes, thinly sliced (about 5 cups)
- 1 12 lbs sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices (about 5 cups)
- 1 large onion, sliced
- Lightly coat the inside of a 4 1/2 or 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray.
- In a bowl, combine cheese, soup, sour cream, and broth; set aside.
- In the prepared cooker, layer half of the potatoes and half of the onion.
- Top with half of the soup mixture, spreading evenly.
- Repeat layers.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours.
