Purple Prune Plum Pie
- 20 each plums
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup flour, all-purpose
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon ground
- 1 each pie shell (9 inch)
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- Halve and pit plums.
- Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon.
- Sprinkle 1/4 of mixture over bottom of pastry shell.
- Overlap plums in circles on sugar mixture.
- Sprinkle with remaining mixture and dot with butter.
- Bake at 425 degrees F 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 350F (180C) F and bake 30 to 35 minutes longer.
