Nasi Goreng With Chicken

  1. Heat oil and cook chicken, 10 to 20 minutes.
  2. Remove chicken and allow to cool.
  3. Saute onions until well browned.
  4. Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
  5. Stir in the spices and cook 2 minutes longer.
  6. Cut chicken into small pieces and add to the pan.
  7. Also add soy sauce, catsup and rice.
  8. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
  9. Stir frequently, adding 1 or 2 tbs (30 ml) water if needed.
