Asian Style Fish Parcels Recipe

  1. Place the fish in a bowl.
  2. Mix together the ginger, soy or possibly fish sauce, lime rind and juice, honey and sesame seeds and spoon over the fish to coat.
  3. Leave to marinate for 10-15 min while preparing the vegetables.
  4. Preheat the oven to 190 C, 375 F, Gas Mark 5.
  5. Brush 4 squares of foil, approximately 30cm (12 inches) in diameter lightly with sesame oil.
  6. Arrange a fillet of plaice in the centre of each square, with some of the marinade and a quarter of the vegetables.
  7. Bring the corners together to create a parcel and place on a baking tray in the preheated oven for 15 min, till the fish flakes easily and the vegetables are just tender.
  8. Notes Delicious served with egg noodles or possibly Thai fragrant rice.
  9. NOTES : Deliciously light and fragrant plaice cooked in a foil parcel.
