Spice Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350*.
  2. BASE - Combine butter and flour, mixing well.
  3. Spread in a 8" pan.
  4. Bake 12-15 minutes, until firm.
  5. Remove from oven.
  6. FILLING - Combine eggs, brown sugar, spices, baking powder, salt, vanilla and flour.
  7. Stir in the walnuts and coconut.
  8. Spread over base.
  9. Bake @ 350* for 25-30 minutes, until golden and firm.
  10. Cut into 1" x 2" bars.
