Hershey's Cocoa Fudge

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a heavy 4-quart saucepan.
  2. Stir in milk.
  3. Bring to boil on med-high heat stirring constantly.
  4. Boil without stirring to 234 degrees (100 C.) (soft ball stage).
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Add butter and vanilla, do not stir.
  7. Cool at room temperature to about 110 degrees (45 C.).
  8. Beat until fudge thickens and loses some of its gloss.
  9. Quickly spread into buttered 8 or 9 inch square pan.
  10. Cool thoroughly before cutting into pieces.
