Okra Fingers

  1. Wash okra, trim steams, drain well.
  2. Pour buttermilk over okra, set aside.
  3. Combine next 5 ingredients mixing well.
  4. Remove each okra pod from buttermilk and carefully roll in cornmeal mixture.
  5. Drop into deep hot oil; fry 3 to 5 minutes.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
