Caramel Pudding Cake by Blondie
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 cup cold water
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; add to creamed mixture.
- Add milk and stir until smooth.
- Stir in raisins.
- Spread in a greased 8 inch square baking pan.
- Combine brown sugar and cold water; pour over batter.
- Bake at 350F for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
