Tarheel Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
  2. In large bowl, pour warm melted butter over 3/4 cup chocolate chips and stir until smooth.
  3. Mix together flour, brown sugar, and white sugar and stir into chocolate mixture.
  4. Stir in eggs and vanilla.
  5. Fold in coconut and 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  6. Pour into pie crust.
  7. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes (best if under-baked).
