Sukiyaki
- 4 Tbsp. salad oil
- 2 lb. round steak, cut in strips
- 1/2 c. bouillon
- 3/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. sherry
- 3 onions, sliced thin
- 1 c. sliced celery
- 1 can sliced bamboo shoots
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced thin
- 1 can water chestnuts
- 10 oz. box frozen cooked spinach
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 1 pkg. vermicelli, cooked
- Brown meat in hot oil.
- Combine bouillon, soy sauce, sugar and sherry in bowl.
- Add 1/2 mixture to meat.
- Push meat to one side of frying pan.
- Add onions and celery and cook over low heat 3 minutes.
- Add remaining bouillon mixture, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, water chestnuts and cooked spinach.
- Cook for three minutes.
- Add green onions.
- Cook 1 hour over low heat.
- Serve over the cooked vermicelli.
