Banana Cream Pie Ii Recipe
- 4 c. heavy whipping cream
- 2 c. half and half cream
- 1 x (4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding
- 1 c. crushed ice
- 2 x bananas
- 1 x 9 inch baked pie shell whipped cream banana slices for garnish
- Method:1.
- Place heavy whipping cream and half and half cream in a mixing bowl.
- Whip with an electric mixer, starting on low speed.
- Add in ice, and continue mixing for about 5 min.
- Add in pudding mix.
- Increase to medium speed, and mix another 5 min.
- Turn mixer to high speed, and mix till pudding is very stiff.

- Line bottom of pie crust with one banana, sliced.
- Fill pie shell with filling till level with top, using about half of the prepared filling.
- Top with slices of second banana.
- Pile on the rest of the filling, shaping with rubber spatula to create a high center cone; the higher the pie, the more spectacular.
- Chill at least 1 hour till thoroughly chilled.
- 3.
- To serve, top each piece with freshly whipped cream and a few slices of banana for garnish.
- Makes 1 -9 inch pie
- A favorite "masterpiece" dessert.
