sig's Spicy Beetroot (Taridar Chukandar)

  1. Peel and clean beetroot and cut them into 1 inch chunks
  2. Put oil into large pan and heat, when hot put in the bay leaf and seeds, after a few seconds when leaf has darkened add all other ingredients stir gently and add 300 ml water
  3. Stir and gently simmer for 30-40 minutes until tender.
  4. Remove bay leaf and serve with juices
