Caramelized Onion and Blue Cheese Crostini
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 whole Large Sweet Onion, Sliced Or Diced
- 1 dash Salt
- 1 teaspoon Fresh Thyme Leaves
- 1 whole Baguette, Sliced And Toasted
- 1/2 cups Blue Cheese Crumbles
- In a large saute pan, heat the olive oil on medium-low heat.
- Add the onions and sprinkle with a dash of salt.
- Cook, stirring often, for about 5 minutes or until they have softened and then add the thyme leaves.
- Cook the onions, stirring often, for another 20-25 minutes or until they have turned brown.
- Remove from heat.
- Spoon the onions over the toasted bread and top with blue cheese crumbles.
