Strawberry Upside Down Shortcake

  1. Generously grease the bottom of a 13x9 inch pan; sprinkle marshmallows evenly over the bottom of the pan.
  2. Thoroughly combine thawed strawberries and syrup with dry ge latin; set aside.
  3. In large bowl combine remaining ingredients.
  4. Blend at low speed until moistened; beat 3 minutes at medium speed.
  5. Pour batter evenly over marshmallows .
  6. Then spoon strawberry mixture evenly over batter.
  7. Bake at 350F (180C) for 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
  8. Serve warm or cool wi th ice cream.
