Mini meat pies.
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 lb Sirloin roast
- 2 cup water
- 2 tsp Beef broth granules
- 1/4 medium Onion chopped small
- Cut roast into small pieces, 1/2 in square about
- In medium pot brown beef in small batches, use a little oil, put aside
- In same pot, cook onion until tranlucent
- Combine meat and onions in pot
- Add water mixed with beef broth granules
- Bring to a simmer uncovered.
- cook till beef is tender.
- Mix flour with 1/3 cup water and add to pot.
- Continue cooking until gravy meat mixture is thick and not runny.
- Roll pie crust dough into 8 inch circles.
- Place enough meat gravy mixture (cooled) on 1/2 of crust
- Brush crust edges with water to act like glue
- Fold crust over mixture and pinch edges to seal
- Brush top with egg wash for browning
- Puncture top to release steam while cooking
- Bake at 400F until brown.
