Jack Daniel's Shredded BBQ Chicken
- 1 & 1/2 to 2 lbs of Chicken Breast.
- 1 shot of Jack Daniel's
- 1/3 can of beer (I use Coor's)
- 3/4 Bottle of Jack Daniel's Honey BBQ Sauce
- 1/3 cup Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Brown Sugar as needed.
- 1 Cornstarch as needed.
- 2 tbsp Stone Ground Mustard (Dijon)
- Place chicken in crock pot.
- Add BBQ sauce, salt, pepper, beer, Worcestershire Sauce, and shot of Jack Daniel's.
- The chicken will need to cook on low for 4-5 hours.
- I remove chicken after about 2 hours to pull it apart.
- You can also cut it into pieces prior to placing in crock pot.
- After "shredding", (pulling apart) chicken place back into crock pot, add brown sugar and corn starch to thicken texture.
- If to sweet, add in more worcestershire, salt, pepper.
- Also add mustard.
- Once thickened texture/desired texture is reached, serve on toasted buns and enjoy!
