GERMAN'S Chocolate Brownies
- 1 pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S GERMAN'S Sweet Chocolate
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Line bottom and sides of 8-inch square baking pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan.
- Grease foil; set aside.
- Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min.
- or until butter is melted.
- Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
- Add sugar; mix well.
- Blend in eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in flour and pecans until well blended.
- Spread into prepared pan.
- Bake 25 min.
- or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs.
- (Do not overbake.)
- Cool completely.
- Lift from pan using foil as handles.
- Remove foil.
- Cut brownies into 16 squares to serve.
