JELL-O Oranges to Go

  1. CUT oranges in half.
  2. Remove fruit from each half.
  3. Scrape shells clean with a metal spoon.
  4. Finely chop fruit, removing membrane; set aside.
  5. DISSOLVE jelly powder in boiling water.
  6. Add ice cream by spoonfuls, stirring until smooth.
  7. CHILL until mixture is slightly thickened, about 15 minutes.
  8. Fold in chopped fruit.
  9. SPOON into orange shells.
  10. Chill until set, about 30 minutes.
